The device is intended to be mounted on one side of the receptacle (1) for the collected fruit and is constructed on a frame (2), which is cantilevered from the side of the container. An activator (3) is designed to move the frame between a position of use, where it is moved transversely a distance from the container and a retracted position, back against the side of the container. A shaft (7), which is driven in rotation, carries an eccentric disk (13). A crown wheel (15) is carried by the eccentric to produce a vibration. The transverse position of the frame can be adjusted to position the frame such that the crown wheel, under the action of the eccentric, can transmit its vibrations to the required tree or bush.
