PURPOSE:To display the contents of programs and to immediately check whether the contents of programs are up-to-date or not by sending program contents including version number data for all programs from a transmitting side and automatically updating the contents of character broadcasting programs stored in a memory on a receiving side. CONSTITUTION:In a teletext broadcasting equipment, program contents generated by a contents generating device 8 are added to the heads of respective program data A to N and transmitted. On the receiving side, a contents data discriminating part 2 identifies the contents data based upon character broadcasting data decoded by a character broadcasting signal processing part 1. Version number data are recorded in a storage part 3 relationally to each program name. A program to be received is specified and inputted by the depression of a key pad or the like and stored in the storage part 3. The contents data are entered, and when the number of versions is changed in the registered programs, the current program contents stored in the storage part 3 are updated. |
