PURPOSE:To shorten recovery processing time and customer's waiting time by executing cash recovery to be automatically executed by a cash recovering part in parallel with transaction processing when the processing is a cashless transaction, and at the time of cash transaction processing, executing the processing while suppressing cash recovery. CONSTITUTION:Prior to start, a set value for the number of sheets of money to be automatically recovered is previously stored in a storage part as initial information. Whether a cash box is filled with cash or not is checked by a till detecting sensor 25a or 26a based upon the set value, and when a 10,000-YEN cash box 25 is filled with 10,000-YEN bills e.g. 200 sheets of 10,000-YEN bills stored on the upper part of the box 25 are recovered from the box 25 to a cash box 27. When the device is in waiting for a customer, recovering operation is started immediately after the detection of the fill, but during the period of transaction by a customer, recovering operation is started after the end of the current transaction only, when there is no succeeding customer, the operation is started at that point of time. Consequently service can be presented to a transaction user even in recovering operation and customer's waiting time can be shortened. |
