<p>PURPOSE:To stretch the wrinkles of the printing paper or paper folds before transfer and prevent defective transfer and a defective fixation by providing a pressing means applying pressing force to the printing paper in front of the transfer position where a toner image is transferred on the printing paper. CONSTITUTION:A pressing roller 4 applying pressing force to the printing paper 6 is provided in front of the transfer position where a toner image 7 is transferred on the printing paper 6. When the toner image 7 of a photoreceptor drum 1 is transferred to the printing paper 6, a transfer unit 2 and a transfer guide 3 are moved toward the photoreceptor drum 1, and the printing paper 6 is brought into contact with the photoreceptor drum 1. The printing paper 6 is pressurized between the transfer guide 3 and pressing roller 4 by the movement of the transfer guide 3, and the wrinkles of the printing paper 6 or paper folds can be stretched immediately before transfer.</p> |
