<p>PURPOSE:To provide a programmable delay generator with simple constitution, excellent linearity and low power consumption and capable of performing a fast operation. CONSTITUTION:This generator is a modified programmable delay generator which generates a delay time signal by delaying an input time signal. The generator is constituted in such a way that a switch 3 whose one terminal is connected to a first voltage Vc and controlled by the input time signal Vi, a current source 4 provided between the other terminal of the switch 3 and a voltage Vs-, a charge injection circuit 5 which outputs a voltage signal to be turned on/off based on the input time signal Vi, a capacitor 6 provided between the output terminal of the charge injection circuit 5 and the other terminal of the switch 3, and a comparator 7 which outputs the delay time signal by comparing the voltage at the other terminal of the switch 3 with a desired voltage are provided, and the delay time of the delay time signal can be adjusted by controlling at least either the voltage outputted from the charge injection circuit 5 or the current of the current source 4 corresponding to delay time.</p> |
