PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device capable of recovering and exchanging a waste toner container with excellent workability and simultaneously, efficiently using the capacity of the waste toner container. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device provided with the waste toner pack (waste toner container) 18 recovering unwanted toner on a photoreceptor drum (image carrier) and temporarily storing the unwanted toner and a cassette 1 loading and housing a recording paper is constituted to use a part la of the cassette 1 as the cover of the waste toner pack 18. Thus, the waste toner pack 18 is recovered and exchanged with the excellent workability without opening the front door of a large device as in the conventional manner and moreover, a dedicated supporting member for supporting the waste toner pack 18 is dispensed with. On the other hand, the pack 18 is vibrated by the loading/unloading actions of the cassette 1 comparatively frequently taken, so that the waste toner recovered into the pack 18 is flat and uniformly heaped by the vibration. Consequently, the capacity of the waste toner pack 18 can be efficiently used. |
