PURPOSE:To provide a connector excellent in handling at the time of fitting which will not give damage to a pin at the time of fitting. CONSTITUTION:A connector has a pin connector 20 for housing a pin contact 45, and a socket connector 10 for housing a socket contact 13. This pin connector 20 has a housing 40 to be guided to the socket contact housing part of the socket connector 10 to be fitted and a pin side insulator 30 movable in the direction vertical to the fitting direction with respect to the housing 40. This socket contact 13 has a contact slit 13f and contact parts 13g and 13h protruded to the inner side of the contact slit 13f. A contact 45 has a plane in a direction orthogonal to the socket contact 13. |
