<p>PURPOSE:To realize a low-cost production method of a color filter using a dyeing method. CONSTITUTION:After lots of patterns 61-1, 61-2, 61-3 to be dyed in several colors are formed on the surface of a supporting body 1, a photoresist film 81 is formed. Then, the resist film 81 is exposed to light with various light quantities according to the specified colors for the patterns 61-1, 61-2, 61-3 to be dyed. The resist film 81 is then removed separately for the colors of dyeing and the patterns 61-1, 61-2, 61-3 with the surfaces exposed to air are repeatedly dyed and subjected to dye-preventing treatment the same times as the number of colors to dye the filter. Or, dye patters to be dyed with different thickness for different colors are formed on the surface of the supporting body 1 and a photoresist film to cover the patterns to be dyed is formed thereon. The resist film is removed from a thicker part of the film, and the pattern with the surface exposed to air is dyed and subjected to dye-preventing treatment. This procedure is repeated the same times as the number of colors for dyeing.</p> |
