Related documents, such as school books, are separated into a collection of independent sheets (1), forming a mini booklet, so as to lighten them for their transportation. The separated parts are provided with rapid fasteners so as to be fixed to an appropriate binding. Each sub-assembly of sheets is placed in a cover and joined to it by fasteners which are detachable from complementary fittings in the cover. The fasteners are separated so that each movable part has only a single possible place. Alternative types of fastener can consist of staples fixed to the back of the mini booklet and engaged in receptors fixed to the internal face of the cover back. Notches in the booklet can be used to fit into the receptors. A rod can be inserted into the booklet binding or press studs can be placed on the back or side of the booklet.
