The method for preparing frames for dentures involves forming a wax model (1) of the frame required from a master plaster model and placed the model in a moulding cylinder (2) filled with refractory sheathing material (6). The base (3) of the moulding cylinder (2) has a conical projection (4) with a drilling (5) forming an outlet. Heat is applied and the wax (1) runs away through the hole (5). The moulding cylinder (2) is removed and the space within the refractory material (6) is filled with a metallic powder or organic material which is melted by further heating to cast the required frame.
