The valve has an upstream feed aperture (2) and a coaxial outlet aperture (3) in a housing (1), in which is a swivelable, spherical rotary body (4) with a central through bore (5). The rotary body swivels about a horizontal axis across the flow direction between an open and a closed position. Both the rotary body and housing are of integral type without any releasable separation. The feed and outlet apertures have each a ring (11, 20) removable from the housing during the rotary body fitting. Between the rings and the rotary body are fitted seals (13, 22). The housing has axial apertures (25) for pushing the rotary body through, closed by two flanged lids locating the rotary body bearings.
