The card (1) has a recess (3) in its surface to accept the processor (2). The processor is inserted in the recess with a translation movement perpendicular to the face of the card. An adhesive layer in the bottom of the recess holds the processor in place. The adhesive layer has enough adhesion to hold the processor in place in normal use, but is not too strong to allow the processor to be removed with finger pressure. To allow removal of the processor a semi-circular notch (11) is cut in the edge of the recess, to allow a finger tip to be inserted under the edge of the processor so it can be tilted and withdrawn from the recess.
