PURPOSE:To prevent the leak of liquid in a battery due to overuse after a low voltage of the battery is alarmed. CONSTITUTION:This receiver is equipped with a voltage detecting circuit 15 which monitors the output voltage of the battery 22 or a voltage boosting circuit 21 and detects the specific low voltage, a timer 11 which measures the time after a previously set period is elapsed after the voltage detecting circuit 15 detects the specific low voltage, a power consumption reduction control part 10 which reduces the power consumption of a radio part 2, a demodulation part 3, etc., when the period is elapsed, and an alarming control part 8 and a display control part which outputs an alarm when the specific low voltage is detected or when the set period is elapsed. The time clocking period is set through an input part 20. |
