CONSTITUTION:In a method for detecting the boundary position D of first and second layer liquids in order to separate the first layer liquid 100 from the second layer liquid 200 different from the first layer liquid 100, the suction means 10 for sucking the first layer liquid 100 is introduced into the first layer liquid to form air bubbles B in the suction means 10 and, on the basis of the pressure in the suction means generated when the air bubbles B of the suction means 10 reach the second layer liquid from the first layer liquid, the boundary position D of the first and second layer liquids is detected.
