<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the damage in a tape from occurring and to provide a valid RF output signal by suppressing hunting and stably traveling the tape at the time of rewinding and fast-forwarding. CONSTITUTION:A tension sensor 21 detects tension being the tension information of the tape traveling between two reels not shown in figure. A tension detection signal detected by the tension sensor 21 is amplified by an amplifier 22 to be supplied to a signal processing part 23. The signal processing part 23 converts the tension detection signal to a digital signal by an A/D port to supply it to an internal arithmetic processing circuit 24. The arithmetic processing circuit 24 corrects the speed control of the reel of the side of winding the tape according to the tension detection signal. Further, the arithmetic processing circuit 24 controls the back tension of the reel of the side of feeding the magnetic tape according to the tension detection signal.</p> |
