<p>PURPOSE:To provide a radar device transmission source having the capability of hopping a frequency as well as the function of a low phase noise. CONSTITUTION:An output signal from STALO 11 and an output signal from VCO 12 are synthesized with a mixer 12 and converted to a transmission signal via a band pass filter 14. The oscillation frequency of VCO 12 is determined on the basis of control voltage outputted from a control circuit 19, and basically one of f1, f1 and so forth, and fi up to fN. A part of transmission signals is extracted through a coupler 15, and inputted to a plurality of turning circuits 16-1 to 16-N. Also, the tuned frequencies of the circuits 16-1 to 16-N correspond to the oscillation frequencies of VCO 12 at a ratio of 1 to 1. Furthermore, a selector circuit 17 selects the output of a given tuning circuit 16-i corresponding to the oscillation frequency fi of VCO 12. The output of the circuit 16-i is fed back to the control circuit 19 via a loop filter 18. In addition, the control circuit 19 controls VCO 12 on the basis of the output of the circuit 16-i.</p> |
