PURPOSE: To enhance the bending strength of a base plate without increasing the thickness of material by forming tube mounting holes in a substantially triangular shape in the base plate on which end parts of the tubes in a heat exchanger network are mounted respectively by extension. CONSTITUTION: This heat exchanger 10 is provided with a heat exchanger network 11 having a plurality of tubes 12, and a plurality of base plates 14 and 15 on which the end parts of the tubes 12 are mounted respectively by extension. The base plates 14 and 15 each have a plurality of tube mounting holes 18 and seal elements 20 having a through opening 21 upward therefrom. Moreover, the seal elements 20 have seal collars 23 inside tube mounting holes 18 to enclose the ends of the tubes. In such an arrangement, the tube mounting holes 18 of the base plates 14 and 15 are formed substantially triangular. On the other hand, the through openings 21 and the seal collar 23 of the seal elements 20 also may be formed substantially triangular. This can enhance the bending strength of the base plates 14 and 15 without increasing the thickness of the material. |
