PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device replacing a developer when the number of printed paper sheets reaches the specified number and capable of using up a large quantity of supplied toner with no wastage. CONSTITUTION:This image forming device is provided with a printed number counter (not shown in the figure), a toner density sensor 74 detecting the toner density in a developing unit 62, the first display section 72a reporting that the replacing timing of the developing unit 62 draws on to a user, the second display section 72b urging the replacement of the developing unit 62 to the user, and a controller 60 operating the first display section 72a when the number of printed paper sheets reaches the specific number and the toner density does not become the fixed density or below and operating the second display section 72b and prohibiting the printing action when the number of printed paper sheets reaches the specific number and the toner density becomes the fixed density or below. |
