PURPOSE:To correct position deviation and perform correct sticking even when a feature part utilized for superimposing is not present by utilizing the judged result of the presence of the feature part for performing the superimposing, superimposing images and performing a sticking processing. CONSTITUTION:Only high frequency component waveforms 22 are taken out in a BPF 115a, they are passed through an absolute value computing element 115b and thus, input image data 21 become waveforms 23 for which absolute value conversion is performed. Further, the waveforms 23 are passed through a cumulative operation part 115c, the hatched part 24 of the waveforms for which the absolute value conversion is performed is cumulatively added inside respective cumulative addition areas 31 and as one partial image, the total of 128 pieces of contrast data are stored in a contrast data memory 115d. Then, a CPU 2 reads the respective contrast data from the memory 115d as needed, sends control signals for controlling AF based on the data to an AE/AF driving part 117 and controls a focus lens. Further, the CPU 2 judges the presence of the feature part in the overlapping area of the partial images to be joined and outputs the result from a terminal 1. |
