PURPOSE:To easily execute cross section indication necessary for cross section display for a graphic arranged in a three-dimensional (3-D) structure consisting of plural units having plural parts in their insides. CONSTITUTION:A computer system having a graphic display, an external storage device and a mouse consists of a graphic data reading processing part 2 for reading out 3-D graphic data stored in the external storage device and storing the read data in the system, a mouse control part 3 for indicating an optional cross section or the movement/rotation of a 3-D graphic by the mouse, a cross section shape geometry calculating processing part 4 for calculating the graphic data of a cross sectional shape of the 3-D graphic based upon a cross section indication outputted from the control part 3, a graphic data editing part 5 for judging an undisplayed part in the 3-D graphic display including the cross section and editing graphic data, and a plotting control part 6 for displaying the graphic data on a graphic display. |
