PURPOSE:To perform an automatic accompaniment based on the accompaniment pattern generated by a user. CONSTITUTION:A fundamental tone of the chord which is the origin of the accompaniment pattern to be generated, a kind, a tone color, an upper most sound and a lower most sound are made into a set and are stored in a setting table memory 8. Based on the musical scale corresponding to the kind of the chord, a sound name attribute against the kind of the chord (chord sound, scale sound and non-scale sound) is stored in a classification table memory 9. By the operation of an operation piece 5, the contents of the memory 8 are selected, the accompaniment pattern generated by an external automatic playing device B is inputted via MIDI signals and the chord is detected by a keyboard 4. Corresponding to the note chord in accordance with the attribute of accompaniment pattern key chord, shift data are read from a note conversion table memory. Based on the shift data and the fundamental tone of the detected chord, a pitch conversion is performed. The pitch converted key chord is outputted to a sound source C as MIDI signals. |
