TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER FOR MIDI SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To transmit an MIDI signal without using an MIDI cable and to output or transmit automatically the MIDI signal in accordance with the input of the MIDI signal. CONSTITUTION:This device is the transmitter-receiver of the MIDI signal transmitting or receiving a radio signal among MIDI musical instruments and is provided with a transmitting part 34 transmitting the radio signal modulated based on the MIDI signal outputted from the MIDI musical instrument, a receiving part 33 outputting the MIDI signal demodulated from the received radio signal to an MIDI musical instrument, a signal detecting part detecting the presence or absence of the output of the MIDI signal and a transmitting- receiving switching part actuating either the transmitting part 34 or a receiving part 33. In the case the receiving part 33 is in an operating state. the transmitting-receiving switching part activates the transmitting part 34 when the signal detecting part detects the output of the MIDI signal from the main body of electronic instrument and allows the receiving part 33 to be maintained in the operating state when the signal detecting part detects the output of the MIDI signal from the receiving part 33.
