PURPOSE:To provide an excellent color reproducibility and precise image reproducibility and to make an outline plotted by a set of a pixel a smooth shape by making a two-dimensional shape of the pixel regular hexagonal or circle, or its approximate shape and repeatedly performing the combination arranged so that distances between centers of respective pixels R, G, B adjacent to each other are equalized in two- dimension. CONSTITUTION:The two-dimensional shape of the pixel 3 forms a regular hexagon, and concerning the arrangement, in the state that respective sides of the pixels 3 are arranged closed to each other, respective pixels 3 of R, G, B are in the relation where the distances between the centers Ps of respective pixels are equalized, that is, in the positional relation where the shape linking the centers P1, P2, P3 of respective pixels R, G, B forms a regular triangle, and by successively repeating the combination, a color filter of a liquid crystal display screen is formed. Further, it is similar also in the cases that the two-dimensional shape of the pixel 3 is made the regular hexagon or the shape close to the circle, e.g. is made the shape where the external angles of the regular hexagon are rounded or the shape where respective sides of the regular hexagon are rounded. |
