PURPOSE:To obtain an automobile drive guiding device by which a driver can easily obtain destination information by displaying the candidate of a destination satisfying a use purpose when the driver inputs this use purpose at first and displaying the route up to the selected destination when the driver selects the destination next. CONSTITUTION:A driver turns on the switch of an input device '7 and inputs a use purpose in a central processing unit 3 by voice, for instance. The central processing unit 3 retrieves all the destinations and the positional data which is related to the pertinent use purpose from a retrieval information storage device 4 and specifies the plural destinations by numbers on a road map which is being displayed. The driver selects any one of these numbers, turns on the switch of the input device 7 and performs the voice input of the number. The central processing unit 3 leaves the display of the destination according to this number, discontinues the displays of other destination candidates, retrieves the related information on the pertinent destination from a retrieval information storage device 4 and displays the information on the display device 8. |
