The method is for charging a battery trickle mode when a battery terminal voltage is of a predetermined level. The method comprises the steps of; (A)checking the connection of an adaptor and a battery; (B)sampling and averaging battery voltage; (C)charging a battery with voltage pulse which on/off time ratio is 20msec to 120msec; (C)repeating the steps(B) and (C) till the battery voltage is increased to a predetermined level.
