The following are claimed: (A) agent for influencing hyperactive immunological effector cells comprising: (a) a calcium antagonist; and (b) an agent which reduces the intracellular cAMP/cGMP ratio. (B) agent for influencing hyperactive immunological effector cells comprising: (a) an agent which eliminates the hyperactive effector cells; and (b) alloreactive cells with a preprogrammed death.
