The method is for the prodn. of an actively cooled power plant, partic. a combustion chamber wall (2) with non-similar geometrical cross-sectional contours, partic. a transition (8) from a circular to a rectangular cross-sectional geometry. It involves a pipe bundle (12) with pref. welded rectangular small cooling pipes (10) corresp. to the cross-sectional run of the power plant wall in a longitudinal and torsional direction. Rectangular cooling small pipes are prepared, equal in shape and running in a plane, and arranged next to one another in a pipe bundle with similar cross-sectional contours and equally sized peripheral lengths to the ready-made power plant wall.
