The instrument panel has a front wall which is formed to correspond to a number of steps (2,3). The board has drive gear on the rear side and a number of printed film sections on the front that are fixed to the steps. The printed film sections (4-6) on the front of the dashboard are connected to each two at a time via deformable connection tongues (7-8). The tongues are elastically deformable.
