PURPOSE:To provide an angular velocity detection circuit in a vibration gyro which can efficiently detect angular velocity and greatly suppress the generation of an offset even if the equivalent resistance of a pair of piezoelectric elements differs. CONSTITUTION:The circuit is provided with a detection means 20 for detecting the difference in passage current between piezoelectric elements 2 and 3 under the resonance state of a vibrator 4 with virtually a pair of piezoelectric elements 2 and 3 on the side surface of a vibrator with a resonance point and a sample holding means 21 for sampling and holding the output of the detection means 20 at a timing where the displacement speed of the vibrator 4 reaches 0, thus detecting angular velocity based on the output of the sample holding means 21. |
