<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a magnetic tape from being damaged and to prolong the service life of the magnetic tape by arranging a 2nd inclined guide of the take-up side among a group of tape guides the take-up side at the position where the magnetic tape in is wound on right after it is separated out. CONSTITUTION:In the magnetic recording/reproducing device, the 1st inclined guide 22 in the take-up side is arranged at the position where the magnetic tape 2 is wound on right after it is separated out from a rotary head drum 3, and also on the downstream surface thereof, a guide roller 24 of the take-up side and the 2nd inclined guide 26 in the take-up side are arranged in this order. In this case, the inclined angle of the magnetic tape 2 in the wound state onto the rotary head drum 3 is sufficiently enlarged while keeping that the loading and unloading operations of the magnetic tape 2 are performed in nearly parallel to the reference surface of a cassette. Thus, the contact between the lower end of the magnetic tape and a lead edge is prevented for the hight of the lead in the overall range, at the time of loading and unloading operations of the magnetic tape 2.</p> |
