<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the ATM remote maintenance connection setting system in which nodes are remotely maintained from all lines connecting to the nodes without fixed setting maintenance connection in advance. CONSTITUTION:A remote maintenance cell sent from a remote maintenance terminal equipment is given to a line control section LT 12 of a node 1. Routing TAG information using a control signal transmission reception section CLAD 13 as a destination is added to a remote maintenance cell by an ATM cell header high speed conversion circuit ATC and the cell is updated by a value representing a line by a VPI/VCI identifier, Then the remote maintenance cell is sent in an ATM cell switch SW 11 and reaches the control signal transmission reception section CLAD 13. The remote maintenance cell is composed into a frame and sent to a main control signal CTL 14. The main control section CTL 14 controls each section of the node 1 by receiving the frame.</p> |
