<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a memory cell from being inadvertently speeded up by performing erasing processing only on a data recorded region in an EEPROM and not performing erasing processing on an unrecorded region in such a state that the initialization is required. CONSTITUTION:In such a state that the initialization of an EEPROM is required from the outside, when information data are recorded on all blocks of an information data recording region, the information data recording region is erased en bloc. When an unrecorded block exists in the information data recording region, erasing processing is not performed to the relevant unrecorded block and a block in which information data are recorded is partially erased.</p> |
