Alloy and plastics frame for flat or circular ventilated roof windows

The frame is manufactured from alloy extrusions and plastics mouldings, and supports sheets of insulating glass (3). Crossbars (1) are connected to supporting sections (5) in a simple manner by screws (7). The sheets are fixed in place by crossbar covering sections (2), which are held by tensioning springs (6), and which are retained by screws (8). There are grooves on the outside of the supporting sections in order to hold the tensioning springs. Sheets of glass are mounted by using clips.
