The invention concerns a germinating apparatus for cultivating sprouts or shoots which has a housing (1) accommodating germinating trays (61) in a tray-accommodating device (6). To facilitate handling, the tray-accommodating device (6) can be continuously displaced. Preferably, the tray-accommodating device (6) is in the shape of a horizontally rotatable carousel having a plurality of bases for receiving the germinating trays (61) which have the shape of circle segments. The sprouts or shoots are irrigated uniformly and specifically by means of a watering device (8), whereby high quality and a very good yield are obtained. |
