Method of reconditioning tennis balls with coating of final gas diffusion

The balls (7) to be reconditioned are placed into a container (1,2) which can be gas-tightly closed and is filled with pressurised gas. The container has an aperture (6) for ball insertion, affixed, tight lid (2) and a gas supply connecting union (8). The union typically contains a pressurised gas cartridge. Alternatively, an air pump may be used and may be integrated into the container, pref. the lid. The air pump may be of manual type, e.g. a piston pump with a n on-return valve.
