<p>The present invention relates to a cooling air supply control apparatus of a refrigerator and a control method thereof for controlling discharge quantity and discharge direction of cooling air by way of an eccentric damper (27), thereby maintaining stably the temperature in the refrigerating chamber (5) to a maximum, the apparatus including a keyboard (38) for operating keys so that a user can select a desired operation mode; a plurality of thermistors (31, 32, 33, 34) for detecting the temperatures in the refrigerating chamber (5); a controller (42) for controlling a cooling operation of the refrigerator according to temperature difference in the chamber (5) detected by an operation mode selected by the keyboard (38) and the thermistors (31, 32, 33, 34); a stepping motor driving unit (46) for driving a stepping motor (26) so that an eccentric damper (27) can be rotated according to the control of the controller (42); a reed switch for detecting a position of the eccentric damper (27) in the course of driving of the stepping motor (26) according to an output signal of the stepping motor driving unit (46) to thereby output the same to the controller (42); and a fan motor driving unit (44) for driving a fan motor (14) in order to maintain the temperature in the chamber (5) at a predetermined constant level according to the control of the controller (42).</p> |
