Mounting for tarpaulin covers on swimming pools

The covering tarpaulin (1) is draped over the rim (6) of the pool, and is gripped by hooks (2). The hooks support the distributed load of a weight (4) or weights, which may hang directly from the hooks, or via connecting elements (3). The distributed weight may also consist of a water-filled hosepipe. The use of metal weights, water bags or wooden blocks to anchor the hooks is also discussed.
