A hydraulic flow regulating valve has n outlet (20) coupled to a load and an inlet (66) connected to a pumped supply. Within the valve body is a piston assembly (96, 56, 32) that moves axially dependent upon the generated pressures determined by the supply condition and the load condition. Variable orifices (126, 128) are formed that respond to changes in the conditions to maintain the flow constant. The main control piston (86) moves relative to a spring (88) force.
