A high energy content mixture, burned or exploded, heats the pressure injection mould surfaces (2). It is ignited in the inlet (4) of the cavity (1), the outlet (5), or in a pre-combustion chamber. The mixture burns explosively; the pressure generated may be used to open one side of the mould (1), which is completely filled before ignition. The process can be repeated several times to raise the surface temperature and/or control it. The mixture, esp. of gases, burns, leaving no solid or liquid residue. Combustion products may be flushed from the mould (3) by dynamic fluid injection, under a degree of vacuum. Also claimed are the equipment to carry out the above procedure, its use, and articles manufactured.
