<p>A magnetic head which is slid on a magneto-optical recording medium for recording information signals. The magnetic head comprises a magnetic core; holes for receiving the core; recesses for receiving coils formed around the holes; a bobbin having one end formed integrally with a flange section perpendicular to the length direction of the magnetic core; and a sliding body having a fitting hole with one opened end for fitting the magnetic core and bobbin and a sliding surface which is slid on the magneto-optical recording medium at least at the peripheral surface or one surface of the flange section of the bobbin fitted to the fitting hole. In addition, an engaging section is formed on either the bobbin or sliding body and engaged section on either the sliding body or bobbin. When the engaging and engaged sections are engaged with each other, the bobbin and sliding body can be united in one body and accordingly, the magnetic head can be assembled without using any bonding agent. <IMAGE></p> |
