The apparatus for cleaning a charge line of a transfer charger for use in an electrostatic machine, comprises: a photosensitive drum(17); a first charger(1) above the drum for charging the drum; the transfer charger(9) positioned below the drum including the charge line having a home end and an opposite end, and having a casing having one side open toward the drum; a developer(2) for supplying toner on the photosensitive drum and forming an image on the drum; a drum cleaner(18) for removing the residual toner on the drum, and completely enveloping the charge line; a pair of register rollers(3) for carrying the copy sheets onto the transfer charger; and an anti-electrostatic rod(13) for removing the residual charges on the transferred copy sheets to a pair of fixing rollers.
