PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy diagnosis of a fault by providing a memory means storing the fault symptoms that can be supposed, the factors of these faults and the test methods of these factors. CONSTITUTION:An integrated control memory 2, an input/output part 3 for maintenance operator and a connection part 4 to a fault diagnosis subject are connected to an integrated control part 1. The memory 2 contains a synchronizing step definition table 5, a transmission control table 6, a state message table 7 and a test operating message table 8 and stores the contents which show the fault symptoms that can be supposed, the factors of faults and the test methods for these faults on a directional graph structure. The corresponding fault symptom is read out of the memory 2 and a test method is decided. This decided test is started through the part 3 and the result of this test is supplied. Thus the next test method is decided. |
