ONE-STEP FLAVORED PASTA PRODUCTS

A flavored pasta product is described which may be prepared in a one-step process or by using a microwave oven. The loss of pasta solids during cooking of the product is significantly reduced due to a high temperature drying process used in the production of the pasta product from extruded pasta dough. A fried snack food product and an instant noodle product made from undried pasta dough are also described.
