Control of electrical load

A process to control electrical loads like staircase lamps with a microprocessor for time switching, first has the load switched on with a soft start and then driven at full load after a given time. The switching off is done in steps or by gradual reduction of power or it may be a combination of the two, where the power is reduced in a single step, then gradually down to zero. The single step will be a cut of 50%. After switch- off, the load is kept in stand-by mode. The microprocessor may be for DC or AC. There are two groups of input channels, one connected to the actual control circuitry and one to the data evaluation circuitry.
