<p>A microwave resonator having a cavity in which a resonant frequency F1 which changes with changes in length of the cavity and with change in cross-sectional dimensions of the cavity is compensated for changes in cross-sectional dimensions by forming a second resonant frequency F2 in the cavity which changes with changes in cross-sectional dimensions and modifying F1 by F2 so as to eliminate the change in F1 due to changes in cross-sectional dimensions.</p> |
