EVEN/ODD FIELD DETECTION CIRCUIT AND METHOD USING SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL

摘要

The circuit and method is for detecting odd/even field of a synchronous signal from a relationship between a compound synchronous signal and horizontal synchronous signal. The circuit comprises a vertical synchronous signal detector for detecting vertical synchronous signal in input compound synchronous signal, a window signal generator for generating window pulses, and an odd/even field detector for detecting field signal by counting clock number of horizontal synchronous signal.
