The method compensates the monitor vibration during slow action in the video tape recorder. The device includes the microcomputer(1) which generates the vertical-lock pulse position data by control of system, the servo(2) which generates the vertical-lock pulseposition data from microcomputer(1) with synchronizing the head switching pulse, and the video processor(3) which generates the playback video signal.
