COMPOSITION OF A STRUCTURE-FORMING AGENT

A compound is proposed as a structure-forming agent for non-polar hydrocarbons, containing a compound of general formula M(OR)3 and a compound of general formula M<1>OR<1>, wherein M represents a metal of the third group of the principal subgroup, M<1> represents lithium or sodium, and R and R<1> represent hydrocarbon radicals. The compound is distinguished by the fact that it contains in addition a metal halogenide of general formula M<1>X, wherein X represents chlorine, bromine or iodine, in the form of a complex compound of general formula M<1>OR<1>.M<1>X, said compound comprising not less than 0.5 mol for 1 mol of compound of general formula M(OR)3.
