Recognition of end position of electric motor-driven car window

In a procedure to recognise the end position of an electric motor-driven car window, the motor current is measured several times. The difference between maximum and minimum values is taken and when this lies below a certain threshold, the end position is recognised. The measurements are taken at equal time intervals and a short time after the initial starting current has begun. The measurements use an analogue-digital converter, connected to a microcomputer.
