The system has at least one hydraulic drive which acts on the vehicle part and is connected to a tank (9) via at least one valve. At least one pump (8) extracts a hydraulic medium from the tank. The valve is a switch valve (15,16,53,54), and lies in a sequential switch, which switches on the valve as its first step, and switches on the pump as its second step after a time delay. The valve can also be subordinate to at least one throttled check valve (17,20,58,66), which can itself be subordinate to an unthrottled check valve (18,59).
